    The brief

    Brzeznica Estate is a heritage property with a rich history and genuine character - but its old website did it no justice. The photos were poor quality, and the site ran on a custom CMS built by a previous developer, so complicated the client couldn't even log in to make changes.

    Our solution

    I built a new, photography-led website the client can manage themselves, with a dedicated page for weddings - and cut their hosting costs while I was at it.

    • A new website built around photography, using images pulled from their own Instagram since a professional shoot wasn't an option
    • A dedicated page telling the estate's history - the thing that makes it different from anywhere else - instead of a paragraph buried in an About page
    • Restructured the navigation so holiday guests and wedding enquiries each get a clear path, instead of being lumped together
    • A dedicated wedding page to support the business they actually wanted to grow
    • A working contact form so guests can easily get in touch
    • Reviewed their hosting and domain setup and moved them to a better, cheaper arrangement - nobody had checked it in years

    The result

    Brzeznica Estate now has a website that actually shows off the place - visitors can see what makes it worth choosing, and couples planning a wedding finally have a dedicated page built for them. On top of that, the estate is no longer overpaying for hosting nobody had reviewed in years - a better website and lower bills, at the same time.
